How to send a notice

Email us via the contact page with:

• the web address (URL) of the material on this site;
• identification of the work you say is infringed, and where it was first published;
• your name, who you are in relation to the rights (owner, licensee, agent), and how to reach you;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law.

What happens next

We review every notice. Where a claim is substantiated, we will remove or disable access to the material — usually within a few working days of verifying the claim. We will tell you the outcome either way.

Archive and newswire material

Rights in that material remain with its owners. If you own rights in something in the archive and want it removed, a notice as above is enough — we do not require a court order.
